I stopped by the Third Annual Hunger Village Awards in Philadelphia last night at Live Casino Philadelphia, and it was an incredibly moving experience. Centered around the theme
“Together at the Table,” the evening celebrated outstanding community leaders including Mayor Cherelle L. Parker and Councilwoman Cindy Bass who are making a measurable impact in the fight against food insecurity. From the insightful “Food is Medicine” panel to connecting with fellow advocates, the event was a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we unite for a common cause. I’ve always wondered what it’s like to experience a Phillies game from the Live! Casino parking lot Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia . Tonight I caught a little of the magic: the roar of the crowd, the stadium lights glowing, and thousands singing “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” during the seventh-inning stretch. The Phils may have been trailing the Brewers 4–1, but you could still feel the energy. ⚾️ Go Phils!!

PS I was here shooting an event. I wasn’t paying the $50 to experience it, but there’s a good chance I left more than that in a slot machine. Someone come and get it. 🎰🎰

And just like that, Rocky is home! 🥊

Moved to the top of the Philadelphia Art Museum steps earlier this year, today Rocky was set back 10 feet to his final, permanent position. Construction began September 11 to build a strong underground foundation to securely anchor the bronze statue and give tourists a safer place to strike that famous victory pose!

Just in time for the 50th anniversary of Rocky this December! I caught the move on video, including a tourist striking the iconic pose beside the newly situated statue.

The celebration kicks off September 30 with a fabulous opening party Forman Arts Initiative , followed by 11 days of design, art, architecture, workshops, cocktail parties, open houses and experiences that showcase Philadelphia’s incredible creative community.
I’ve rounded up a dozen events I think you’ll love, but don’t just take my word for it. There are dozens more to discover, whether you’re a design enthusiast, an architecture lover, or simply looking for something fun and different to do around town.

This year’s festival features more than 100 events, including a fashion show at Suburban Station, interactive installations, and a chance to explore the brand-new Forman Arts Initiative Campus.

🚨 EAGLES TAILGATERS, HEADS UP! 🦅

Big changes are coming to parking at Lincoln Financial Field, beginning with the Eagles’ next home game on October 4.

Here’s what fans need to know:

🏈 Assigned Parking: Attendants will direct vehicles into designated spaces rather than allowing fans to choose their own spots. The goal is to prevent oversized vehicles from occupying multiple spaces and keep sidewalks, medians, and grassy areas clear.

🏈 Tailgating Restrictions: Large, organized tailgates will be limited to the space directly in front of or behind their vehicles. Setups requiring multiple parking spaces will be restricted.

🏈 Designated Lots: Tailgating will be limited to Lots D and N, with increased parking fees.

🚧 Road Closures: Additional road closures and relocation orders are planned along Broad Street.

The changes reportedly have the approval of the City and Sports Complex Special Services.

And before you ask, apparently it’s NOT about the money says Jerry Ehrlich is about the fans convenience 🏈

A nor’easter is expected to hit the Jersey Shore Friday through Sunday, bringing concerns about significant beach erosion. Here’s a look at high tide Sunday at Atlantic City’s Steel Pier.
