For the third third consecutive year, we’ve proud to have partnered with the Philadelphia Phillies to provide the audio post production for the 2025 Video Yearbook.

The 2025 season had some huge highlights: 96 wins, back-to-back NL East titles, Kyle Schwarber's historic four-home run game against the Braves, and the arrival of The Durantula. But the lowlights were brutal – losing Alvarado to PED testing, Wheeler going down with a blood clot in August, and the ignominious sweep at the hands of the Dodgers in the NLDS. That last play - ooof.

But that's baseball. Tomorrow, pitchers and catchers report to Clearwater and every team starts 0-0. Spring training kicks in, winter starts winding down, and we can all come out of our ice caves.

Every so often I get the call from NFL Films to jump back in and help out the sound department, which is always a blast. Last November, I spent a few days contributing to the sound design for the latest season of WWE Unreal, knowing next to nothing about pro wrestling.

I still don’t know much, but I do know that (or the !) should open every WWE match and give the fans what they REALLY want. HA!

Anyway, the series is an interesting look behind the curtain of a multi-billion dollar industry to see how the sausage gets made and what it means to produce and perform an insane brand of performance art for a massive audience.

And massive props to the Films sound department, who do an incredible job with the audio aspect of storytelling. You’d be surprised at the detailed conversations we had discussing the best aluminum ladder sounds.

I vividly remember the 2007 - 2010 seasons. Watching the team grow into an iconic powerhouse with soon-to-be legendary players was an incredible thing to witness - not just from a baseball perspective, but from an everyday perspective as well. You could feel the vibe shift everywhere you went. During the season, baseball was on everyone’s mind. Everything felt more fun. People were generally (and guardedly) more optimistic. Maybe even friendlier.

I saw some crazy games in that stretch, including one memorable night sitting behind home plate where we saw get ejected from the game after a particularly bad call. They had to send pitcher Roy Oswalt out to play left field and Raul Ibanez took over at first. It’s on YouTube, check it out.

Out of all the standout players in those years, there was no one like . He had it all - offense, defense, speed, grit, and swagger. So we were especially excited when the asked us to contribute the audio post for the Wall Of Fame tribute video for Jimmy.

Last week, we helped .films tell the incredible story of KJ Muldoon, the first patient of any age to receive a custom gene-editing treatment, led by the pioneering efforts of the incredible team .
