FUN FACTS ABOUT BOWS AND SPLITTING HAIRS ⬇️
🐴 yes, they are indeed horse hair! But don’t touch it because it’ll get oily! And no the horse isn’t harmed!
❤️🩹 don’t worry, the bow isn’t hurt when we lose a hair! It just means we need to go get our bows rehaired—which we do about every 3-6 months ideally. It costs between $60-$80 for a bow rehair.
😅 you can play with broken hairs, but it’s not ideal. I’ve had a broken bow hair get stuck in my left hand before. That was weird and stressful.
😇We try to yank em off as soon as we can while trying to appear calm…tho sometimes it’s necessary to go for the badass fast approach if you only have a few seconds!

There’s no better feeling than getting to share our covers with the next generation of musicians. Thank you thank you to Woodstock for having us at their big orchestra festival this week! 🥰🥰 We had the absolute best time with you all.
The Woodstock program is truly impressive and we want to give a huge shoutout to all of the teachers there. We were truly blown away by the magnitude and quality of this orchestra program, and it makes us so inspired and hopeful for the future of orchestra teaching in schools!! 🫶🫶

and got to meet up with in Chicago when he was here 🫶 and you guys…you GOTTA go see the Asleep in the Garden of Infernal Stars tour. It’s so beautifully immersive—the visuals are stunning, the lighting programming is insane, and the set Jeff has put together takes you on the most incredible, cinematic journey with the perfect flow of music that keeps you exhilarated through every drop. 🔥🔥
As classical musicians we’re always so blown away by the intricacies and complexities of his music within the EDM genre. ✨✨ and the world building! Ugh it’s all just so good!
We’re so grateful to Jeff, , and for the projects we’ve been able to work on together, and love it when we get the chance to reconnect and throw our bodies around to this incredible music.
