When you don’t have any wrapping materials because you just moved across the country and still are living out of boxes 📦 at your in-laws house but your costume making alter ego is working on a commissioned candy cane stilt walking costume so you pívot and use scraps from that and some pine needles from the tree outside to gift wrap 😂🎁🎄

Y’all! Houston has been so welcoming and wonderful, I’m just really feeling the Texas love. Sometimes making a big change is scary, and sometimes it’s just what’s needed. 🤠 This patchwork infinity scarf was made from remnant pieces of faux fur I saved over all the years of making MASscarves! 💚🌎💚

For as long as I can remember my mom has always been my biggest supporter. And when I formed MAS in 2013 she was not only my cheerleader but also my saleswoman and vending partner. She would meet me anytime, anywhere to sling scarves together. I vended for the first time yesterday since 2019 and though it went great, I couldn’t ignore the pain in my heart from my mom’s absence. I wanted so badly to call her on the way home and tell her about my day. I think she would be proud of me and I know she’s watching over me helping me along the way. Miss you mom, but thankfully you instilled your love deep inside of me, so I can feel it even though you’re gone. I’m going to keep hustling to make you proud 💙💙💙
