May 28! Our friend Nic Esposito and his family are hosting a Solar Open House with Solar States. Come meet some cool people, talk a bit about solar, learn about the Emerald Street Community Farm (it's just next to the Esposito's home pictured in the drone shots, they help manage it and would love for you to get involved) and enjoy some food and drinks. Solar States is proud to help power Elmwood Park Zoo with 449 solar panels projected to generate 350,000+ kWh annually while saving $30K+ each year. Visit us at the Zoo tomorrow, May 2, at their Party for the Planet event from 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.!

In 2025, we trained 132 students, brought on 27 interns, and hired 10 full-time employees — expanding our workforce development programs into Chester County and Harrisburg. Our crews completed nearly 300 installations, including a stretch where we packed a full year's worth of solar into just three months. We lobbied in DC, rallied at City Hall, and when policy changes opened the floodgates, we answered — working nights and weekends to meet the moment. After 18 years, we're just getting started!
