Christ Community Church
We are a Community Church committed to Loving God and Loving People!!
Welcome to Christ Community Church of Philadelphia, where our purpose is to worship God, love His people, and impact the world with the life changing message of Jesus Christ.

The early church didn't just gather once a week. They devoted themselves to one another, sharing meals, praying together, and carrying each other's burdens.
That's the kind of community we want to continue building at Christ Community Church! Small Groups create space for people to be known, encouraged, challenged, and cared for throughout the week.
If you've ever felt called to help others connect and grow in their faith, we'd love to invite you to learn more about becoming a Small Group Leader.
No pressure. No obligation. Just an opportunity to explore where God may be leading you!

YOU are a LEADER! Too many people have disqualified themselves because they don't have a microphone, a title, or a position. But in the Kingdom of God, leadership begins with influence. If you belong to Jesus, then He has placed you on assignment wherever He has planted you. ππΎ
You don't need a stage to lead. If you believe in Jesus, then you are called to influence the world around you. π

Before Fatherβs Day gets here, we just want to encourage every dad reading this. π
A lot of fathers carry pressure that nobody really talks about. The pressure to provide, to lead well, to protect their family, and to keep going even when they feel exhausted themselves. Many dads are trying their best while quietly carrying responsibilities, stress, and worries that most people never see.
But if youβre a father, please hear this today: what you do matters!
Your presence matters. Your prayers matter. Your encouragement matters. The small moments matter more than you realize. The conversations in the car, the long workdays, the sacrifices nobody notices, the times you kept showing up even when life felt overwhelming. Your family may not remember every word you said, but they will remember the love, consistency, and strength you gave them.
You do not have to be a perfect dad to make a lasting impact. Some of the most meaningful fathers are simply the ones who stay faithful, keep trying, and continue loving their families through every season.
This week, we are praying for strength, wisdom, peace, and encouragement over every father and father figure in our community. ππΎππΌππ½
Dads, what has been the most meaningful or rewarding part of being a father for you? Weβd love to hear your answers!
Did you know that YOU have authority? Stop treating your home like common ground.
Walk through every room. Pray over every door. Consecrate every space. Let heaven know who owns the property. Your home should be a dwelling place for the presence of God, not a playground for darkness! Take authority over your atmosphere. π₯

We live in a world where you can message anyone, but it can still feel like no one really knows you. That is not how God designed life! An authentic community looks like people who check on you, pray for you, laugh with you, and stay when things are not easy. π

We're not meant to do life alone. From the very beginning, God said, "It is not good that the man should be alone," in Genesis 2:18.
Small Groups are where friendships deepen, prayers are shared, burdens are carried, and faith grows. They're where people move from simply attending church to truly belonging. π
As we prepare for our next season of groups, we're looking for people who are willing to help create those spaces. You don't have to have all the answers. You simply need a heart for people and a desire to see others grow!

Somebody needs this invitation today:
You do not have to clean up your life before coming to church.
You do not have to pretend to be okay.
And you definitely do not have to show up perfect.
Tomorrow is for real people, real struggles, real hope, and a real God who still changes lives! See you tomorrow! π
Sundays | 9 AM + 11:30 AM
4017 Chestnut St, Philadelphia, PA 19104
Who will you hang out with this weekend? We probably all have plans and will interact with others, but are you making room for them to be seen? In a world where people feel overlooked, forgotten, and invisible, one of the most powerful things you can do is stop, look someone in the eye, and remind them they're loved!π
Before Jesus changed lives, He noticed people. Who around you needs to be seen?

Thereβs a difference between being around people and actually feeling known. Most spaces give you the first. Very few give you the second.
A Different Kind of Hello is built to help you move past small talk and into real connection with people who care about their faith and their future. If thatβs what youβve been needing, this is for YOU! π₯
See you on Sunday after the 11:30am service!

Is your screen time is shaping you more than your time with God? You pick up your phone for a few minutes, and before you know it, an hour is gone. You scroll, you watch, you take in everything, and then you wonder why your mind feels so full but your heart still feels empty. π±
What you give your attention to will always shape you. It forms how you think, what you desire, and the direction your life is moving. God is not fighting for your attention, but He is inviting you to spend time with you
Try to put your phone down for a few minutes this week and spend that time with Him instead. ππ½ππΎππΌ
