Christ Community Church
We are a Community Church committed to Loving God and Loving People!!
Welcome to Christ Community Church of Philadelphia, where our purpose is to worship God, love His people, and impact the world with the life changing message of Jesus Christ.
Is tongues and fire the real miracle from Pentecost? The real miracle was that the people from different backgrounds, different stories, and different walks of life came together and actually started living like Jesus. They loved each other, gave generously, and built real community. π
Who can you encourage, support, or show up for this weekend?

As summer approaches, everything gets a little more flexible. That can be refreshing, but it can also pull us away from the rhythms that keep us grounded.
Time with God does not have to be complicated. It can look like a quiet moment in the morning, a prayer in the car, or opening your Bible before the day begins. π
βRemain in me, as I also remain in you.β - John 15:4

Making real friends as an adult is weirdly hard. Especially when you actually care about your faith. You donβt just want people to hang with, but people who will pray with you, challenge you, and grow with you.
Join us for a different kind of hello after the 11:30am service on June 14th! ππ½

What if the thing youβre most ashamed of is the very place God wants to restore you? The enemy will always remind you of who you used to be, but the Holy Spirit reminds you of who you are now.
Peter denied Jesus, carried the weight of it, and could have stayed stuck in shame. But when the Spirit came, everything changed.
You cannot carry fear, shame, and doubt and still walk in the authority God has given you. Will you choose to walk in this freedom? ππΎππΌππ½
Can you discern the difference between emotional hype and a genuine move of God? Not everything that feels spiritual is actually the Spirit.
In Acts, people saw what God was doing and completely misunderstood it. Some dismissed it as emotion, others recognized it as the move of God, but the difference was discernment.
You donβt just need to feel something. You need to know what youβre feeling. ππ½ππΎππΌ

Today, we pause to remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their courage, sacrifice, and selflessness will never be forgotten. We are deeply grateful for the freedoms we enjoy because of those who chose to serve others above themselves. πΊπΈ
We are praying for every military family and every person carrying the weight of loss today. T

The moment you decide someone is beyond forgiveness, you forget how much God has forgiven you. God never looked at your worst moment and walked away from you. And every time we choose forgiveness, we reflect that same heart to others. Forgiveness is one of the strongest ways we look like Jesus! π
