Easy like Sunday morning.

Did a thing last Saturday.

Running a marathon has been something I really wanted to do in honor of my dad who used to run them. Even though the course had miserable hills (and we did it all twice since it was a loop) it was absolutely beautiful, which is why I chose it.

I definitely felt my dad’s presence and him pushing me to keep going… I cried tears of happiness at the 25 mile mark, knowing how proud he was and that he was right there with me.

I love all the seasons. Each one makes me happy in a different way and ties to different holidays and fun memories and things to do. But there is just something so special about spring.

Every single year as leaves fill the empty branches and the landscape turn back to green it feels so much brighter and greener than I remembered. It feels likes such a gift. (I know that’s corny, but I don’t care)

I love natural sunlight in my house. That and some simple greens in a vase, combined with texture, wood tones, and candles. It feels warm and invited and “homey”. This is a coffee table I did for a client- it’s simple and casual, and I’m really feeling the spring vibes and loving it.
