Our Organic Almond Powder is made with one ingredient: organic almonds.
The Daily Mix is designed specifically for early allergen introduction under age one. Just mix into baby’s favorite food to help introduce almond in a safe, age-appropriate way.
No fillers. No added sugar. No complicated prep.
Just almond. 🤎
Starting almonds early reduces the risk of an allergy - so you can keep your almond butter smoothies too. 😉
Yes you can add our whole food powders to baby’s milk - just make sure your baby is cleared for solids and the ni**le size can handle a thicker liquid! 🍼

More food allergy reduction news! EGG ALLERGIES ARE DROPPING thanks to early allergen introduction.
The prevalence of egg allergy among children fell by more than 17% in a new study published today in the journal JAMA Pediatrics.
This past October we celebrated the data showing a more than 40% reduction in peanut allergies thanks to early allergen intro during baby’s first year.
“These findings highlight that guideline changes, when based on high-quality evidence and widely adopted, can lead to meaningful reductions in food allergy prevalence,” Jennifer Koplin, group leader of childhood allergy and epidemiology at the University of Queensland Child Health Research Centre and lead author of the new study, said in an email.
The study, based in Australia, adds to the growing body of evidence supporting that the latest guidance is not only considered safe but is also linked with a meaningful decline in egg allergies among children.

Early introduction means that you feed your baby servings of peanuts, eggs, milk, wheat, and tree nuts every week, as soon as they start solids, through their first birthday.
This trains their immune system to tolerate common allergy-causing foods.
In early allergen introduction, the allergens are a part of their meals, but not the whole meal.
There are 3 important pieces for early allergen training to work:
1️⃣Early - Training should start as soon as a baby starts solid foods. Most food allergies develop between 6 and 10 months old, so early introduction should start by 6 months, and continue to the first birthday.
2️⃣Enough - A baby’s body needs 2g of protein each time to properly learn to tolerate a food. If you give a baby teensy amounts of a food, their immune system may not learn to tolerate it.
3️⃣Often - A baby’s body needs regular training (at least weekly) until their first birthday to learn to tolerate a food. A single serving is not enough, even if you don’t see an allergic reaction.

Yes, you can use peanut butter for early allergen introduction, but here’s why thousands of parents trust Lil Mixins instead. 👇
🥜 Lil Mixins was specifically designed by a food allergy mom for early allergen introduction.
🥜 Our Organic Peanut Powder contains just one ingredient: organic, roasted, defatted peanuts. Designed to mix easily into baby food.
🥜 While peanut butter can be used for allergen introduction, it must be thinned with water to reduce choking risk. That dilution can make it harder to deliver the full recommended 2 grams of peanut protein per serving, especially when babies often eat only small amounts at a time.
✅ With Lil Mixins, there’s no measuring, thinning, or guesswork. Just add a pre-portioned serving to foods your baby already enjoys and feel confident they’re getting the intended amount of peanut protein.
✅ Less prep for parents. More consistency for babies. Designed for the allergen introduction journey. 🐵

Last night, our team attended the NYC premiere of “May Contain My Life” and what a feeling!
Thank you and for this documentary and for your bravery + dedication to challenging the stigma.
Over 33 million people have a food allergy, and the truth is, we share spaces with them all the time. This film affirms that food decisions are personal health boundaries and should be respected and acknowledged as such. As a culture, isn’t it time to just respect someone when they turn down an offering of food - instead of challenging it or taking it personally? The social aspect of this disease is something allergic individuals have to navigate nearly every day.

The doors are open for a lifetime of food freedom!
You can introduce nuts + seeds with butters, but their thick texture can be unsafe for babies.
⚠️ Introducing allergens shouldn’t come with a choking risk. ⚠️
You can thin butters with water… but that can also lower the protein content, when the science says they need at least 2g each time.
Daily Mix packets make it simple:
✓ Pre-measured packets with 2g protein
✓ Organic whole food ingredients
✓ Easy to mix into foods baby already eats
✓ Designed for safer, more consistent exposure
Early allergen introduction made easier for parents. Less food prep mess. Less spit-out. Easier allergen introduction!

🚨Introducing solids with eczema? Read this first 🚨
Babies with eczema are at a higher risk for developing food allergies - and many parents don’t realize why.
Here’s what research is showing:
1️⃣ Eczema can be a sign of an overactive or sensitive immune system
2️⃣ When food particles come into contact with broken or inflamed skin, the immune system may mistakenly identify that food as a threat
That’s why early, consistent allergen introduction can be especially important for babies with eczema. 👶🥜🥚It is better for a baby’s first food exposure to come through eating (not through the skin) so don’t wait.
If your baby shows signs of eczema, talk to your doctor. Using a skin barrier cream will help keep food particles out + early exposure helps reduce the risk.
