It’s a part of the FringeArts festival at FaceClock

Some of you know the scope of my work as a multimedia artist so for this show, I want to do something different than a standard music performance and incorporate my other art forms into it. ✨J. L. Maas✨ by Jenny Lee Maas Stoic Muse Productions

I’m still ironing out the details right now as to what exactly the night will look like, but I’m excited and grateful to have some awesome musicians on board !

Stay tuned and I’ll post more about it soon, I just wanted to at least get it out there, this is happening!

When I was in college, I would produce art and music benefit shows, but I was usually so overwhelmed by the production and still too nervous about performing that I only showed my sculptures and fine art in the exhibits, I was literally building stages, sewing curtains and building walls, when I say, I did everything I mean it. So it’s exciting to take on an event that I don’t have to build the walls at lol 😂

So thanks again to all the venues that I got to play at this July Attic Brewing Company littlebigplanet The Perch Music & Arts Workshop @ the Emerald Wildflower Garden as well as the people organizing the shows who invited me to be a part of it, you’re all helping me get so much better and I’m very thankful for that!

So,
Here is something that I have been thinking about for a while;
I am releasing my first full length solo album, a big feat for someone who used to just strum away at guitar alone for most of my existence. It has been years of work coming together and though I should be really excited for the release it's difficult to be excited... because the moment it's uploaded to the internet it's become a part of the countless works of art that AI companies will scrape and claim it's legal. Mind you, some of the same platforms that my work gets scraped from are the same platforms that won't let me post my covers of others songs even when it's stylistically different AND I am crediting the original owner. So lots of double standards and loopholes for the tech thiefs as usual.
It makes me reluctant to even want to upload the full thing online, so as a music fan I have always had tapes, CDs & records

So I guess one of my questions is, what is your favorite media for listening that is not the internet?

Also as an artist I cannot tell you how much album art work inspired me growing up, as well as music videos... and so being an image maker (film & photos) I usually release photos & videos with my music. I love exploring these art forms but I'm struggling with how much artists are being exploited right now.
Lots to think about,
This is a small piece of it.

& That said, support live music because every other form of music consumption leaves the artist poor.

Possibly making more of these leaf guitar straps?!
I was making leaf dresses & with some of the leftover leaves I figured I should put them on something I wear all the time… like a climbing bag or a guitar strap! 🎸😎

& yes I do believe that these will be collectors items one day because I’m not always gonna be making them &
