This shot is from Mumford’s 2015 show at Coney Island. I have seen Mumford a lot over the years but the gentleman of the road tour was one of the most exciting times. They were coming of a Grammy award winning record and they were about to do one of the scariest things in folk music. Go Electric. Wilder Minds went on to be one of Mumfords most divisive albums and one of my favorites. I always believe that records like this make bands better artists. Taking chances, stepping out of your comfort zone and no giving a s**t about what people think about you. These ideals are the core pillars that makes music so special to me.
