Instead of worrying about the rights attempt to stop voting we need all out effort to register every eligible voter in every state in the union. We need to fight fire with fire lets not act like we can't battle on their level. If the same energy was spent on voter education as complaining about their efforts to suppress it we could register every person in question.

Just recently I watched a movie Sci Fi and it occurred to me that the human kind are stuck in the proverbial rut. In spite of all our technology and science part of our brain remains just as primitive and savage as it was eons ago. H.G. Wells wrote about the human condition over a hundred years ago and not much has changed. Yes we can split the atom explore our DNA even send spacecraft to the moon and beyond. However we have not learned to live in peace and harmony. Insanity one definition is to do the same thing over and over again and expect different results. Take war for example since history been recorded, just about every conflict was to end all other Conflicts. It has now bought us to the brink of our own destruction. Fueled by greed, prejudice, and hate. It has bought us to the precipice of our own extinction. There's a scene in the film where a truly great fete in science is accomplished, and the protagonist can only think of what use can this be to the military. And I think of today what wonders could humanity create what diseases could be cured if only we could harness the love we have for our families and give it freely to strangers. What type of world would this be, a far sight better than the one we have made for our Selves. When shall humanity back away from the edge of it's own destruction. Surely the rhetoric of present will not help change the present course, P.C. now is said to be a bad thing political correctness is out P.C. for me represents politeness and courteousy. If this type of behavior is to be deemed passe, then I'm in the wrong nation. I've been called all sorts of names like snowflake, libtard, ni**er and a few other nasty words. I ask you is this the world we want to leave to the children is this the kind of record we want to leave to prosperity. Remember evil triumphs when good men do nothing. So the next time you see someone angry at a protester exercising their first amendment rights ask yourself what if it were your issues what if it were your brother or sister. I ask myself wherein lies the responsibility, could it be the efforts of some legislators to roll back educational benefits to the masses. It as though these people have no knowledge of the past. We'll tackle that question a little later. Or perhaps it's our own obsession with the latest up to the minute news should we blame the media, they having taking a lot of flack lately. Maybe it's just a case of to much money being funneled into our government from entities vying for more influence. All the while we go about our lives with blinders on and hoping that things will turn out alright. Well america how's that working out for you. When you live in a representative democracy and you fail to do your due diligence then what transpires is fault. It didn't start with the Trump people it's starts with your neighborhood, your community, your school board. Change has to start at the grass roots level. It's not logica to think you can vote every two years and then forget government. We are learning now that democracy is hard. Let me digress, Earlier I bought up education demonstrations like the one in Charlottesville show me the ignorance that permeates our society it is the job of our educators to root out ignorance but that's hard to do with your hands tied by lack of funds. We as a society are so willing to give millions to athletes entertainers all the while wincing at the thought of funding educational system a system that teaches and nurtures our most prized possession the children a society speaks volumes about itself by the way it treats its elderly and children. It's been awhile since I've posted anything. It's just that with the all news cycles stuck on the President and his chaotic administration where do you start. Maybe with the die-hard supporters who seem to be willing to follow their leader off the proverbial cliff, or maybe with the group that will hold their noses while taking advantage of their majority. One thing for certain is if these actions were done by the prior administration the last President would have been lynched. And while we watch a system grind to a halt because of partisanship the rest of the world looks on in shock. The fact that we are normalizing this bizarre behavior and are excepting alternative facts just shows how desperate certain segments of our society has become. Institutions that have been a beacon of hope for the masses are now vilified and no longer represent the masses once a leader lies and shows us unethical behavior as a norm it's time to take a stand. Is it really a surprise to anyone that the violence in Va this morning is the result of the constant dehumanizing language use to describe politicians by each other. The constant vitriol being spewed is starting to trickle down to the populace no longer do our leaders exspouse the virtues that uplift and inspire their constituents. Oh no now they revile each other and do not hesitate to pander to the lowest social denominator. Senators and congressmen now vie for the Jerry Springer award in ignorance. We are being governed by an crude obnoxious and ignorant Executive branch a weak and inept legislative branch and an out of touch judicial branch
