Free Family Fun In Philly

Welcome to the Awbury Farm. Free from dusk til dawn, where you can see chickens, goats and eat fresh fruit right off the trees. A hidden gem in the 19138 area for anyone who loves the outdoors. They appear to offer summer internships for youth while making available a wide variety of ride on toys for the little ones to use as they explore the grounds. Ita quaint so if your looking for something simple that doesn’t take up the whole day it’s great but if your a lounger I did notice ppl with yoga mats, blankets and packed lunch who were def spending the whole day ha ha.

Trick or treating on the trail, face painting , dj, candy, bird watching, nature walk, pretzels, funnel cake, water ice, Photo Booth and much much more. We had a blast!

Philadelphia is abundant in free and low cost entertainment from educational to seasonal and festive. In addition, I will also share local resources for families in need.

There are so many things going on around the city to promote community engagement, civic engagement, family bonding, early literacy, family and cultural traditions that there is no reason not to participate. Often it’s just about finding the right events and environments and I hope to facilitate that by sharing those activities here!!
