Here's a look at some of our events coming up this month!
On August 10th, Solar Myth Bar will be hosting a screening of Val Shively: 50 Years of Collecting Records in Philadelphia, along with a Q&A after the show.
On August 26th, Daniel Belquer will be performing his most recent music project Drama Queen at RADIOKISMET, while showcasing his musical haptic suits built for deaf and hard-of-hearing people.

Before last week’s live release party with The Bul Bey for his new EP I Don’t Have Time to Doubt Myself, we sat down with the man himself for a pre-show interview, where he spoke about the thought process and meaning behind the creation of the event.

Last week, we had the chance to host The Bul Bey for a live release party of his EP I Don't Have Time to Doubt Myself, alongside artists PreauXX, AWFM, Balmour, and more from .
It was an absolute blast seeing everyone who came to the show - we appreciated the immense support from the community! Watch out for more live shows in the near future, because we have a lot more in store for this year.

This weekend we had a great time watching premier the pocket version of Drama Queen, his next musical project in Drexel University's Studio One!
Daniel Belquer is a composer, inventor, and technologist. He recently worked on a project to better the experience of live music for deaf and hard-of-hearing people, which was showcased at the "Silent Disco: An Evening of Access Magic" in Lincoln Center. Check out NPR's recent post to learn more.
While driving through Philly, we recently bumped into and his father, who were on the final stretch of their bike ride across the country!
After a fist bump through the car window, they agreed to do a quick, impromptu street interview with us, which was an absolute pleasure. Be on the lookout for more adventures with Sam in the future!

At its heart, Kismet Cowork is about co-working and finding inspiration through community and collaboration. Enter its newest experiment: RADIOKISMET. Located on the first floor of its Spring Arts location at 448 N. 10th Street — just a shout from The Rail Park, Love City Brewing, and Union Transfer — RADIOKISMET functions both as an event space that willfully genre-hops and a content lab that’s the centerpiece of Kismet’s forthcoming in-house podcasting network.
