The little seedlings that could! These guys made it all the way from greenhouse, into my office to avoid a sudden freeze, and then out across Philadelphia! 🌱🌱🌱 Some stayed at our garden at others went into the garden at and the rest are for our school garden sites in South, West and North Philadelphia!

And yes, of course I forgot to take a single picture with people’s faces…. Let’s see if I can remember for our next round of seedlings at the end of the month

Fruit trees are in the ground!! 🍒🌸

Thank you to the wonderful team of volunteers from for helping us dig these holes! We planted a cherry, plum and three paw paw trees. Fig coming soon!

We had an absolute blast at our garden party last week! It was the perfect way to kick off the fall season (and even a little chilly! 🍂🍂)

Thank you so much to everyone who came out, donated, helped out and made it such a successful day. We truly couldn’t do it without you!

We need your help!! Last year our garden party was a two woman show but this year we’re kicking it up a notch and we’re looking for volunteers!! 🎉🎉

Come spend 2-4 hours with us during our garden party on October 2nd! Run the door, the grill, the raffle or just help out.

Throughout the season we have students create colorful signs for the garden! We are very clear: these do not have to be realistic, if you want to draw a rainbow pepper surrounded by hearts, that’s your artistic right! 🌈🌈

These signs help visitors navigate the garden, assist young writers in spelling the names of vegetables, and allow children to create something that lasts, even if they can’t take it home.

We’ve been having such a blast working with the teachers and students at Taylor’s Learning Academy this Spring! Earlier in the year we installed custom built garden boxes designed for their space and educational needs.

We planted seeds and seedlings with the students and are returning monthly with new garden-based curriculum! This month we made signs for everything we planted 🌱🍓🍓

We planted garlic today!! 🧄🧄

There’s a secret garden box behind one of the walls of the fort thag wasnt being used so we decided to put it to work! Scroll to the last picture to see what it looked like before we planted!!
