People talk about Going-to-the-sun road as a life changing drive all the time, and I have to say, they’re right. I would easily list this as the single most scenic, incredible drive I’ve ever done. Glacier is easily a top 3 park that I’ve visited, and no matter the number of times I crossed on this road it never once failed to make me audibly say “wow!”

I really learned to appreciate the small differences in shape, texture and tonality throughout the springs while walking around Mammoth. While it was nearly impossible to get a great overall image of the place due to its size and the tourists, I managed to capture some details that I’m really fond of, like the one above.

Looking back through unpublished images of my 2022 roadtrip through the American Southwest. I could spend ages photographing the trees out here, between the Basin Bristlecones and American Junipers. The forms of the trees are absolutely mesmerizing, especially in the desert backdrop. Looking forward to my next trip out here in 2027!

With my campsite right down the way, I spent a lot of time at Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone. While it was crowded, steamy, and smelled like rotten eggs, it was also incredibly other-worldly & beautiful. The shapes and play of shadows combined with trees struggling to survive in the harsh environment really captured my imagination.
I have plenty of images of the springs, but this single image, with the moon just rising in the later afternoon, really has to be my favorite!

My favorite view in all of Yellowstone! Spent every sunrise here on my trip to try and get the best lighting. Couldn’t have asked for a better way to wake up!

Walking along Central Park east when I spotted this amazing composition. Can’t wait for my next photo walk in NYC! Really reignited my love for architectural photography!

The clarity of the mountain lakes and perfect clouds over the mountains in Glacier National Park was unforgettable. Easily placing it in my top 3 parks that I’ve been to, right behind Yosemite and Arches! Can’t wait to get back here someday!

While the towering cedars and black cottonwoods may be the stars of the Trail of The Cedars in Glacier, I was just as busy admiring the supporting characters in the dense undergrowth.
These ferns, layered as they are, with their shadows cast over one another really grabbed my attention.

Fairy Falls is a charming little hike, just past the Grand Prismatic Spring. It’s well worth the detour, but you have to watch out for squirrels trying to steal snacks from your bag! 🤣

This trip was filled with images of still, clear alpine lakes perfectly mirroring their surrounds. It was such an interesting composition tool for me, as I don’t get to see that much back home on the East Coast or in the deserts I often find myself photographing.

During my time in Glacier, I became obsessed with capturing the perfect shot of this location. I spent countless hours looking for the right spot and waiting for the right light. This was my favorite of the series, and I think my determination really paid off!

My final photograph of 2024: the last, and my personal favorite, image from my commission work for of images of the campus.
I was instantly drawn to this well known modern sculpture the first time I walked the campus to scout potential shots, and the lighting on the piece the first day of photographing lended itself perfectly to this composition.
