Happy JUNE!✨💖🍐This month’s birthstone is PEARL🤍- my personal favorite! Born of patience, shaped by the sea, and treasured for their quiet beauty, pearls remind us that something extraordinary can emerge over time.🤍🤍🤍

Conch pearls and raw brass Om.

Brass has always had my heart, warm, grounding, timeless. The 1884 home I steward is filled with its intricate beauty.

After so much time in India, the resonance of Om lives on, now touched by the sea in The Bahamas.

Greetings from the Bahamas!🩵I am currently at the Sivananda Ashram, immersed in a Chakra Yoga Nidra workshop with Katie Silcox, founder of the Shakti School.🪷

This time is centered in the heart. Soft pink conch pearls, and a mala I created with love and intention composed of rose quartz and prehnite, chosen for their gentle, healing energy.🩷💚Pink and green, the colors of the heart.📿

An unexpected connection found its way to me here. Carole, who guides the ashram boat, is also a jewelry designer. She created this OM necklace, now part of my collection, a piece I will carry with me.💕🕉️

The Gilded Pear is always shaped by moments like this, where place, energy, and story become something you can hold.

While in Costa Rica, I discovered the jewelry designer Carla Arrú. I spent a lot of time combing the beach, collecting little shells and fragments of polished sea glass. Her jewelry is such a beautiful representation of my collected treasures and the magic I feel here in Costa Rica, and it’s now inspiring my own jewelry~~pieces shaped by nature, memory, and the magic of the water. 🌊✨

Costa Rica has a way of shifting my hands.
The last time I was here, I fell in love with crochet and wire wrapping~~techniques that felt like weaving devotion into metal.
This time, I’m listening again.
To the jungle.
To the ocean.
To the quiet pull toward something new.

Inspired by my time in Panama 🇵🇦 The landscape and the people left a lasting impression. I brought home beautiful pearls, gemstone beads and other unique components. New designs coming soon.

I first discovered Antonio’s work years ago through a post about handmade jewelry from Panama. Back in November 2024, I reached out to tell him how much his creations spoke to me. Finally, after months of anticipation, I had the honor of meeting him in person and now I hold some of his treasures in my hands. ✨
This wasn’t just a meeting, it was a moment where distance, language, and time dissolved. Our connection felt destined, a crossing of paths that nourished the heart and soul. These pieces are more than jewelry; they carry the love, Light, and energy of their maker.
💖
Antonio, gracias por hacer mi cumpleaños tan especial. Las piezas que creaste para mí serán atesoradas toda la vida. No solo compartes arte, compartes alegría y luz. Eres una luz para el mundo. Espero volver a verte en mi próxima visita a Panamá.

Panama gifted me more than beauty, it gifted me connection.💫 I met this designer who reminded me why I love this craft so deeply. As a fellow jewelry designer, encountering work like this feels like a remembering.
Brass, my favorite metal, recycled materials, serpent🐍forms, pachamama wisdom and🌀spiral energy: creation always moving, always returning. Such special pieces shaped by hands that honor the old ways.💚💚💚
