After months of toil it is FINALLY done! The Soft Spots first official music video for their summer single, "Getaway" will be going LIVE on January first! Thank you everyone who contributed to the kickstarter and helped bring this piece to life!

Hey guys its Brendan Joyce here....it's a been awhile since we posted anything. But right now we are hard at work on editing The Soft Spots music video for "Getaway"....today we got the Super 8 film footage back and it looks superb. We would like to thank all of you who supported us on our Kickstarter campaign back in August...whether you donated or shared our links on facebook or other venues....it was your help and money that gave us such a great video. Trust me when I say, the footage wont disappoint. So a big thank you also goes out to the actors, extras, and most importantly The Soft Spots...they all put in such a great amount of time and effort into making this become a reality...without them...none of this would even look as good. Especially a major shout out to co-producer/DP Matt McClanahan who was always on point and brought such a great artistic, visual style to this project...So keep supporting The Soft Spots, keep supporting Colourpuzzle and stay tuned for the premiere of GETAWAY!!!!!!

OUR 48 HOUR FILM IS ONLINE! Here is our 2014 submission to the Philadelphia 48 Hour Film Project. This film was created, start to finish, within just two days!
Each team draws a random genre out of a hat at kickoff. Our assigned genre was "Film Noir".

We had a wonderful shoot! The cameras rolled and art was born. This was one of our biggest and hottest shoots yet! Four days of heat exhaustion, sunburn, sweat, and a little sleep deprivation... We may have left Wildwood feeling little bit crispy on the outside, but we feel all sorts of warm and fuzzy for the friends and talent we got to surround ourselves with this week.
I wanted to let everyone know that our Super 8mm camera and film just came in! Thanks to your support, we were able to get everything we needed; Camera, Film, and even the processing with digital transfer. It's all set! Now it's down to the shoot this week! We will be shooting on 3 formats. Digital, Film, and VHS (you heard right). Also keep an eye out through September as we begin sending out our donation prizes!!
Another year, another film in 48hrs! This round Colourpuzzle stayed local and participated in the Philadelphia 48hr Film Project. You can catch our film this Thursday at 9:30 at The Ritz East
