What a wonderful weekend with the ACMA Maryland Chapter Chapter! 💙

The celebration began with White Sands & Sunsets at Pinstripes in Rockville, where the joy, energy, and sense of community were truly palpable. It was the perfect way to gather, reconnect, and usher in an exciting day of conferencing, education, and meaningful conversations.

The following day, the 24th Annual ACMA Maryland Chapter Conference welcomed a record-breaking 350+ attendees from across the State of Maryland, along with more than 60 exhibitors. Throughout the day, case management professionals came together to learn, share ideas, build relationships, and connect with colleagues who are all committed to making a difference in the lives of those they serve.

For Flying Angels, every conversation was meaningful. It was wonderful to reconnect with longtime case management friends from “The Old Line State” while also having the opportunity to make new friends and connections. Those relationships are truly what make these conferences so special.

The ACMA Maryland Chapter continues to set a gold standard. The tremendous amount of planning, dedication, and hard work behind this event did not go unnoticed or unfelt. A heartfelt thank-you to the chapter leadership team and American Case Management Association (ACMA) national staff who devoted countless hours to making this annual conference a tremendous success.

We are grateful to have been part of such a special event and look forward to seeing everyone again next year!

Today, on National Be An Angel Day, we celebrate our extraordinary flight nurses who bring that meaning to life.

They do far more than provide medical care. They bring comfort when there is uncertainty, calm when there is fear, and compassion when someone is at their most vulnerable. They travel thousands of miles (worldwide), care for patients as if they were family, and become a steady presence during some of life’s most difficult moments.

Whether reuniting a patient with loved ones, helping someone safely return home, ensuring continuity of care, or simply holding a hand and offering reassurance when it is needed most, our Flying Angels show us what it truly means to be an angel.

We are incredibly grateful for the dedication, skill, compassion, and heart they bring to every flight.

To our Flying Angels team: thank you for being the angels you are ~ not just today, but every day.

And to everyone reading this, remember: being an angel doesn’t always require something extraordinary. Sometimes, it’s a kind word. A helping hand. A moment of patience. A phone call. Or simply showing up when someone needs you most.
