The entertainment world is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Hayden Panettiere, who has died at the age of just 36.
Hayden began acting as a child before becoming known to millions as Claire Bennet in *Heroes*. She later earned widespread praise for her performance as Juliette Barnes in *Nashville* and appeared in films including *Remember the Titans* and the *Scream* franchise.
Away from the screen, Hayden spoke openly about some of the most difficult periods of her life. Her honesty about addiction, postpartum depression and grief helped others feel less alone and showed the courage behind the star audiences had watched for so many years.
She leaves behind her daughter, her family, her friends and generations of fans who grew up watching her work.
Gone far too young, but remembered through every character, performance and life she touched.
Rest in peace, Hayden Panettiere.
