We have some incredible news! We are a mere $7 away from reaching our fundraising goal!

Will you be the one to help us cross the finish line?

Sure, you could use that money to order off the $7 Deal Lovers Menu at Pizza Hut, but wouldn't you feel better knowing that your gift could instead help us continue commissioning and performing new musical works by emerging and established artists of all identities, engaging audiences with vibrant and thought-provoking musical experiences that challenge and inspire, and enriching the cultural life of greater Philadelphia through excellent performances, innovative curation, in-depth education program and cross-genre collaborations all in the name of ensuring that the music keeps playing for generations to come?

We thought so.

Cool thing alert!

This weekend, Artistic Director Thomas Schuttenhelm and clarinetist Alexander Kollias present an informal concert responding to the paintings of artist Mariel Capanna. It features compositions by Schuttenhelm and composer Robert Capanna (1952–2018, father of the artist), including the world premiere of the late composer’s Three Concert Etudes for clarinet. While you listen, explore the artworks on view in Mariel Capanna / MATRIX 198.

Network audiences know and love Robert Capanna's music, as he was a colleague of our co-founder Linda Reichert. Network is honored to have premiered a bounty of his music, and we are equally honored to have Thomas represent the organization in this celebration of Mariel's work! Check it out if you're near Hartford, CT this weekend!

Tonight, the Network Ensemble will take the stage at Temple University's Rock Hall for the Wildflower Composers Faculty Concert. We hope to see you there!

This partnership with Wildflower Composers is the result of several years of forging connection and the development of our education program -- in fact, it wouldn't be possible without your support!

We are nearing the end of our fiscal year and have less than $2500 left to raise! Can you help us cross the finish line?
