Announcing the September 2026 : The Womack Sisters

Kucha, Zeimani, and BG Womack released their first single "Darling" in 2017, blending classic R&B in the vein of Darlene Love and The Ronettes with modern production techniques. In 2022, their EP, Legacy, dropped and continued their torch-carrying efforts by incorporating more soul, funk, gospel, and neo-soul into their tunes. On August 14, the sisters' debut self-titled album released via Daptone Records and is an encapsulation of their family's musical history, as well as their ongoing push to modernize the genres while staying true to the roots and forebears.

Arlo Parks counts The Durutti Column, Nine Inch Nails, DJ Shadow, and Radiohead among her influences. Before her packed show Union Transfer, the UK-based singer chatted with Mike Vasilikos in studio about what inspires her, how she got her start making music, and more.
