So it was the kids and I handing out food tonight. (2 of them were too cool to take a pic with me) 😩 We were able to hand out 95 trays of food, offer some words of encouragement and smiles. SolutionHouse.org

It was a cold one last night but super blessed to have been able to hand out about 175 trays with some of the most selfless people I know. I remember being so hopeless, cold, lonely and really thought that was my life and nothing was going to change, but something changed in me after God pulled me out of a situation I had no desire to leave. Please reach out to get help we are here 24/7.

We were fortunate enough to hand out about 80 trays of shredded barbecue chicken and buttered noodles. For me to be able to be out there with my daughter, granddaughter and niece and to teach and show them what it is like to give back is such a blessing. They do not know my whole story but they know enough that they know I was once out there and I was able to turn my life around. I always teach them when you can to help someone even if is with a smile or words of encouragement. You can change someone’s life with a moment of kindness.

I am so grateful that their was more of us to give out some positive, hope, smiles and food tonight. It really does make me so grateful to be able to do this with my family and friends. Thank you St. Mark's Church, Frankford for the care packages and the support ! I love how we have been able to come together to help spread the hope!

We had such a wonderful turnout tonight giving out food. Conversations, smiles, warm food, socks, book bags, care packages, clothes and so much hope. 2 officers even stopped to talk while we were out who were so kind. Please reach out if you need help. We didn’t go last night and moved it to today thinking it would not be so brutal out but it was about the same. It was just me tonight handing out trays at Kensington and Somerset but it was worth it. So many people out there cold and hungry and they were so happy to be able to eat a warm meal.
