Eating for the Ecosystem
Cultivating People-Plant Relationships There are lots of landscaping companies out there. What makes us unique?
Strengthening the ecosystem is central to our mission. We are a woman-owned company in a male-dominated industry. We use best practices and keep up on the latest research in the field. And we believe everyone can learn how to be a better plant companion and ecosystem steward.
We are hiring two PT eco-landscaping crew members. Send an email to [email protected] for the full job description.
We are hiring two part-time eco-landscaping crew members. Each position includes 1-3 shifts per week, and each shift is between 4 and 8 hours long. Most jobs are in Philadelphia, with some additional work in nearby areas. Jobs with long commutes include a travel stipend toward fuel expenses.
EFTE is committed to increasing the workforce diversity in eco-landscaping. Women (cis and trans), Black people, Indigenous people, and other People of Color are encouraged to apply.

Cultivating people–plant relationships is one of the best things we can do for the planet. We are Eating for the Ecosystem — Applied Research and Education, a new nonprofit. We specialize in connecting local residents with researchers and industry professionals to enhance ecological health and wellbeing.
Please support us on Giving Tuesday. We are planning Hands On education programs to revitalize under-maintained and neglected spaces, Food Forest collaborations with residents in disinvested neighborhoods, Women’s Work workshops to expand representation in plant health care fields, and much more.
FNC Philly is the fiscal sponsor for EFTE-ARE.
