PFS Roxy Theater

PFS operates the Roxy as a first-run theater, with an emphasis on independent films, many of which presently cannot be seen theatrically in Philadelphia. The PFS Roxy Theater programs an array of highly anticipated new films along with repertory cinema not widely available in the city. In addition, the PFS Roxy offers educational programs focused on film and filmmakers, designed for students of any age. The building required significant structural repair which afforded the opportunity to make changes to create the best possible movie going experience in the space. The first round of renovations consisted of adding new seating, new floors, new digital projection in both theaters and an additional 35MM reel to reel projection system in one theater, new screens, and a new sound system, and washrooms. We are very pleased to also have made the Roxy ADA accessible.
