Did you know we built a new little library?

Thanks to our friends at You're the boss general labor , we have an outdoor pantry AND a little library!

This space has been so useful in sharing books with neighbors. Books leave these shelves so quickly and it is so encouraging to see! So many neighbors have told us how much they love looking through these books and are always excited when it gets a restock.

If you have any donations you would like to share you are always welcome to share in our little library!

Story time doesn't always mean sitting still!

This little reader is deep in a puzzle while an audiobook plays in the background — and she's learning more than you'd think. Audiobooks help kids expand their vocabulary, improve listening comprehension, strengthen grammar and pronunciation, and explore stories above their independent reading level.

Hands busy, minds even busier.

Have you heard of analog time?

It's something we encourage every kid to try while they visit the library. No screens, no phones, just good old-fashioned brain fun! Think sudoku, I Spy books, building blocks, coloring, board and card games, crochet, weaving, and more.

We've got a whole box full of options for kids to choose from, and we're always looking to add more. Have an idea for what belongs in our analog time box?

Meet Peter! A fun, sweet cat who can purr and snuggle his way into anyone's heart. He's been beating the summer heat by finding shady spots, and every now and then, sneaking his way right into the library!

We love a good visit from Peter -> swipe to see more!
