New Workshop Series in SATX starts later this month!

Ready to move beyond stability and build long-term success in recovery and community reintegration? Join our Social Determinants of Recovery & Re-entry (SDOR) Life Skills Workshop series for hands-on tools, peer support, and practical strategies you can use right away.

Start Date: June 26 (Fridays) from 10:30–11:30 A.M at the Bexar County Reentry Center, located at 222 S. Comal St., San Antonio, TX 78207. Call Nysjia 210-335-8281 to register.

Drop into the sessions that interest you, or complete the full 7-week series and earn a certificate of completion.

Open to individuals navigating recovery and re-entry, allies, and community partners who want to strengthen support skills.

Temporary Closure – Philadelphia commUNITY Gaming Center (CGC)

Due to the fire-related emergency at the Ridge Heights apartment building and the resulting impact on the facility, the commUNITY Gaming Center (CGC) will remain closed until further notice.

The safety of our participants, staff, and community members remains our top priority. Building management and restoration professionals are currently assessing and addressing the damage. We will provide updates regarding reopening plans as more information becomes available.

We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding during this time.

Today, Unity Weatherford had the opportunity to meet with Mayor Paul Paschall and share more about the work happening through our Recovery Community Center and Community Gaming Center.

We were honored to sit down together, share our stories, and talk about the impact recovery support services are having throughout our community. From creating spaces where people can connect, find support, and build healthy relationships, to helping individuals and families navigate their recovery journeys, Unity is proud to be part of strengthening Weatherford.
