Hey guys! Ms. Janice at God’s Closet said they could really use our help again this Sunday night if we’re available. LET’s DO IT! The help that this ministry gives means so much to these families in need.

It reminds me of when Jesus read from the scroll of Isaiah in the synagogue in Luke chapter 4. He read,

18 “The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
because he has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
to set the oppressed free,
19 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”

Let’s go be like Jesus and love these people. Having enough clothes and school supplies available is a huge blessing when you can’t afford them. Your service is important and makes a huge impact.

This Sunday, the youth will leave from the Youth House at 5PM to enjoy a meal at Zaxby’s. Don't forget to bring money! Afterwards, we will help Ms. Janice organize clothes at God's Closet. We should be finished by 7PM. The church van is available if anyone needs a ride.

Hey guys! Tonight, we are having our church-wide Ash Wednesday service in the Sanctuary at 6 PM. Supper begins at 5 PM in the FLC as usual. This is such a beautiful worship service and one of my favorite special services of the year. It marks the beginning of Lent, the season of repentance, service, and worship that leads to Easter. Come expecting God to move.
