During a recent meeting, I found myself unexpectedly with some extra time. Instead of letting frustration take over, I decided to channel my energy into something creative. I sketched the flag in front of me, which turned out to be a calming and productive exercise. It’s a reminder that sometimes, taking a moment to focus on something simple can help us stay grounded and find clarity.

Caught in a moment of dynamic motion, he appears almost suspended in time, a figure of action within a room where light and shadow play. The chaos of the surroundings suggests a story in motion, an intense narrative captured in a single, breathless instant.

Coming back to work after the holiday break to find these thoughtful notes from my students is the kind of reassurance that reminds me why I chose to teach. Each word of appreciation fuels my passion for education and reaffirms the impact we can have as teachers.

This year has been a very special year for me and my students. We have been in class together since October, keeping as safe as possible. Distancing workspaces apart has brought focus to my students. It has become apparent with many of my students.

Every year our school along with many other schools across the country compete in the skillsusa competition. I have never had a student place above 2nd in the regionals. This year I had 2 students place first in the regional competition and deserve recognition for it.

I truly believe both students have all the skills to have been placed first in the state competition. Xander and Brandon has shown great work ethic all year.
