Youth Engineering and Science
Launching Imaginations, Building the Future
01/30/2019
To our FB FRIENDS AND COMMUNITY –
Please help me get the word out about this GO Fund Me campaign for Youth Engineering and Science!
Make a donation of any size, if you can, but please share this link. We are on the brink of expanding a program that was already making a real impact on thousands of kids' lives over the last 10 years, to have an even larger effect on the community.
A consortium of universities has recognized our organization’s unique model of training youth to become STEM leaders. They want to help us set up a pipeline for future STEM educators by using our program to connect our high school interns with community college students in an immersive teaching experience. At the same time, we are continuing to open up these fields to children from under-resourced neighborhoods, helping them see themselves as future engineers, and scientists.
Beside the help from the consortium, we need an additional $10,000 to hire teachers, support interns, and cover material costs.
Please support us because you believe in the power of education to change lives, support us because you stand for social justice, support us because you recognize that we need a truly diverse and widened pool of STEM professionals to meet the future needs of our country.
Share this post on your FB pages, tweet it out, share on Instagram, whatever you can do and thank you for helping to make a difference!
