VisionLink was proud to participate in the VisionServe Alliance and Envision Conference, joining hundreds of professionals, advocates, researchers, healthcare providers, and nonprofit leaders dedicated to advancing opportunities for people who are blind or have low vision.
The conference provided an incredible opportunity to learn from experts across disciplines, explore emerging trends in vision services and assistive technology, and connect with organizations that share our commitment to accessibility and independence.
Beyond the educational sessions, one of the most valuable aspects of the conference was the opportunity to connect and share ideas with colleagues from across the country. These conversations strengthen our work and remind us of the impact that is possible when organizations come together around a shared mission!

Over 50% of those living with vision loss in Philadelphia are women. That’s why VisionLink offers women-centered support groups that create space for connection, shared experience, and practical support alongside community.
For providers, caregivers, and community organizations, understanding who is most impacted by vision loss helps create more meaningful pathways to support.

Everyone should have access to history.
Our friends at Philly Touch Tours, an organization dedicated to accessible museum/cultural experiences for those experiencing low vision, is coming to National Constitution Center, opening more local avenues for independent living.
Running on Sundays, 4-6 times a year, participants will have access to Singers’ Hall and all exhibits before they’re open to the public, fostering an immersive experience tailored to all forms of perception.

Earlier this month, our team attended the AT In Action conference as part of Philly Tech Week, the event aimed to close the distance between the world of technological innovation, and the need for more accessible living.
We were proud to demo our devices and tools while connecting with families, developers, and fellow accessibility leaders, including Tech OWL - Technology for Our Whole Lives and Inglis, to discuss building a more inclusive future for all.
