Today I’m speaking life into how I wake up and start my day. Instead of running and focusing on what needs to be fixed and what fires need to be put out. I want to intentionally have thoughts and focus on what is going right. Anticipate good happening so that I can send an invite to Opportunity. So that I can wake up to enjoy my day. Not loathe everything that needs to get done. And if somethings don’t get done or completed the way I wanted them to, then it’s ok. It’s going to be ok. 😊

When it seems the challenges are coming more than the opportunities, I think of this quote and remember to look for opportunities in the less obvious of ways too. If you add the small opportunities too, your total opportunities will add up more than your challenges.

Sometimes with not having children I feel like I did fail. But that’s only because I’m not counting what I’ve contributed to others lives and this world as high as a regard of having my own children.

If I had kids I wouldn’t have been available for certain shifts and pivoting moments in other peoples lives and breaking generational holdbacks. Rather people I know, but mostly strangers.

Recently, I see why in ancestry I was chosen for it to skip me. Am I happy their decision, no. But I understand the assignment; I understand the duty. My nieces asked me why I don’t have kids and I told them, “It wasn’t the right time. And that’s ok.” I wanted to show that even if a woman doesn’t have kids, her life is ok that she doesn’t. She can be at peace about it. And it could be something that happens or could not happen. Either way, SHE, can be ok.

Do I wish they were here, yes. But I stay in solace in the fact that where they are, they are safe and protected. And that means more to me than fulfilling a pressuring, societal duty to just do it or what I “should be doing” and then figuring it out.

She knows her value.
Her Values often misplaces her.
Her shoulder so cold yet her heart so warm he says.
Yeah she got body but can she get me bodiedddd????
Eyes out my socket because she’s a prodigy.
Productly,
They try to reproduce her like biology.
These alleles be like meals so she infuse me like Oncology.
I eat well,
Because she is well.
Because she can’t fail.
Twist and turns,
Remember her name ya heard.
I’ve never seen a Bastet fall so hard,
Then bounce back up like she always knew it was in the cards.
I wish I could bite that Bonita Applebaum,
But in her Philly swag she says “Naw maybe tomar’ “.
Damn that cold shoulder,
The coldest winter eva.
But she still my Queen,
That glistens and gleens.
And it’s til this day that I dream.
She’ll one day crown me her King,
And we live out our dreams
Over a vast ocean of Ethereal ecstasies…
