Cameron & Ragine. 💍 Recently I had a chance to capture a wedding 💒 I debated if I should bring my film camera with me and the decision was right.
Somehow film manages to do more with less. A few photos that truly show all the emotions.

Suffering is addictive. They say there's always a hidden benefit in everything we do, feel. Now, I do believe there's a hidden benefit in suffering too.
The need to slow down, the need for care, compassion, the need for an excuse.

It takes a lot of energy to find out what that true benefit really is and how you can get it in a different way.

It took me a long time to become honest with myself. To say okay, that's enough. And even when things are looking up, deep down you miss that feeling when you're glued to the couch because that's all you were capable of at that moment.

The point is that, we choose the direction. We choose what's next. We decide if we're gonna get the help or keep suffering because, oh, well, this is the only way. But is it really? Or maybe you're just enjoying it?

P.S. Here's my first self portrait in... Two years?? That's just so crazy. As I'm slowly getting better I'm honestly in shock realizing how bad things were and how I have been pretending that it's ok.

Long time no see. This comeback I'm starting with Bobby. Because the photoshoot with Bobby was the last one when I enjoyed taking portraits.
Photography overall connected me with a lot of good people. Bobby is one of them ♦️ Someone who lives by his truths. A rare thing nowadays.

Here is to hopes that my muse wakes up and I start taking portraits again 🙏🏻

Meet Steve. Just a huge shout out to this man. I've always said that photoshoot is a two-way street of effort from both a photographer and a person being photographed. Good pictures don't come just from a click and good camera. It is a process that should be prepared...from BOTH sides. Steve was ready with everything! He has never modeled before but he took it really seriously, picked various outfits, accessories and watched some YouTube videos how to model! What!? Yes! All that helps you and helps me! Teamwork! I'll be dropping some key things that you should pay your attention to. Look out for the next post.
