The Philadelphia Botanical Club, founded in 1891, is dedicated to increasing knowledge and appreciation of botany in Philadelphia and beyond. C.
Activities of the Philadelphia Botanical Club include:
Monthly meetings featuring talks by botanical experts. Held from September through May. Field trips to wild areas and gardens in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware — and occasionally farther afield. Field trips have two purposes: to record the plant species at the field trip site and to increase participants' knowledge of plants. Workshop
