For over 100 years, the Aqua String Band has entertained countless people and has shared its unique tradition and sound around the globe. The members of the Aqua String Band had an incredible time parading through our neighborhood this Memorial Day, bringing music, laughter, and plenty of Aqua pride to the streets.
Thank you to everyone who came out, waved from porches, sidewalks, and windows, and celebrated with us despite the weather. And a HUGE thank you to Kulb Designs for helping with supplying us t-shirts to match our neighborhood brother and sisters!!!

It’s Memorial Day Weekend! 🇺🇸

106 years of music, memories, and unmatched tradition 🎶
Today we celebrate the 106th anniversary of the Aqua String Band — over a century of bringing energy, entertainment, and a whole lot of heart to every performance.
This year added a special chapter to that history. Earning 5th Prize was a huge milestone for our band — a moment that reflects the hard work, growth, and dedication of every single member. It’s something we’re incredibly proud of, and a sign of what this group is capable of.
From the stages and streets of Philadelphia to wherever our music takes us, this band has always been about more than just the show. It’s about the people, the passion, and the moments we create together.
Here’s to the generations who built it, the members who carry it forward today, and the many more performances still to come.

An Aqua first:
During our performance last night, after finishing our arrangement of “Hey Jude”, the crowd continued to sing, and let’s just say the band was picking up what they were putting down…
What followed was one of those moments you wish you could bottle up forever. No script, no plan just a great back-and-forth between the band and the crowd that kept building. That’s what it’s all about for us. Not just playing the music, but living in it… sharing it… and letting it take on a life of its own.
Last night was another good one for the books. And if you were there, you already know
