That's a wrap on our amazing 2026 summer camp! Memories created:

Riding: Campers learned to ride and built a special bond with our horses.
Horse Care: They practiced daily grooming and stable care.
Art & Creativity: Campers explored their artistic side with painting and sketching.
Growing Confidence: Watching their skills and self-belief blossom every day was truly magical.

Horse Camp was an absolute blast this week! 🐴✨
We wrapped up an amazing week with a special horse show, where everyone got to demonstrate all their hard-earned skills to our families. It was the perfect way to celebrate so much growth and fun!

Horse Camp gets creative!

We still have an opening or two for next week’s camp. Any child 7-13 who wants to have a blast with horses is invited! Please message us for details.

Summer Camp at Monastery Stables is almost here — and we still have a few spots left. If your child could use a summer full of nature, movement, animals, and joy, this is their place.

Kids thrive outside. Even 20–30 minutes a day in nature can lower stress, boost mood, and support healthier social connections. And when you add horses into the mix — the calm, the curiosity, the confidence they inspire — the impact is even stronger. Whether kids are brushing a pony, walking a trail, or helping with barn chores, they’re learning to be present, grounded, and brave.

But too many kids don’t get enough chances to run, breathe fresh air, and just be outside. And with screens taking up more hours than ever, the gap between kids and nature keeps growing — along with the youth mental health crisis.

At Monastery Stables, we’re working to close that gap. Our land, our horses, and our programs give kids room to move, explore, imagine, and reconnect with the world around them.

Barn swallows are our favorite birds of summer. This year we have three active nests for a total of 10 babies, give or take some. It’s hard to tell from below. Their acrobatic parents feed them constantly and they are adorable, with the first nest ready to launch soon. Thank you swallows! Eat all the insects you’d like….😇

The MCSPCA will be offering a vaccine clinic to pet parents in need on Sunday July 26th, 2026, at our Conshohocken Shelter!

Distemper/Parvo (DAPP+L4) vaccine for dogs – By donation
(FVRCP) vaccine for cats – By donation
Rabies vaccine for cats and dogs – By donation
Microchips will be available for a $25 fee

Event rules and reminders:

Appointments encouraged: complete form to request one!

Walk-ins will be accepted: first come, first served, while supplies last.

The waiting line will be outside.
Due to high turnout, there may be a wait time- PLEASE be patient.
Cats must be in a carrier (no traps or boxes)- no more than one cat per carrier please.
Dogs must be on leash and under your control at all times.

This clinic is for MONTGOMERY COUNTY RESIDENTS ONLY. However, if we do not book solid with Montco residents, we will open up to out of county pets and people as we get closer to the event.
