Remove and dispose of the existing plywood subfloor down to the original plank (slat) board. Remove the original plank board to expose the framing and inspect the joists for integrity, level, and spacing. Reinforced joists as required.
Install new exterior-grade plywood subfloor, properly oriented with face grain perpendicular to the joists, staggered joints, and fastened with appropriate screws at required spacing. Ensure all seams are tight and the surface is flat.
Install underlayment over the plywood per manufacturer specifications, securing and taping seams as required to create a stable, crack-isolation base for tile installation.
Install 24” x 24” porcelain tile using a polymer-modified thin-set mortar suitable for large-format tile. Back-butter tiles as needed to achieve proper mortar coverage. Maintain consistent joint spacing, ensure proper alignment, and allow for required movement joints. Grout joints with appropriate grout, clean surface, and leave installation level, secure, and ready for use.
What started as a bay window repair turned into a full exterior rebuild. Once the rotted wood was removed, we found the framing was compromised as well. We reframed the entire exterior, added insulation and tar paper, replaced all wood with PVC boards and trim, built three new window sills, sealed everything, and finished it all in white. Strong, clean, and built to last.

Built a custom under-staircase play nook designed specifically for kids.
We framed and enclosed the space to follow the staircase angle, installed plywood walls and ceiling for durability, added a built-in bench with storage drawers, and finished it with clean trim details. Integrated recessed lighting to make the space bright and functional. We like to think out of the box for our customers and turn unused space into practical, creative solutions for the home.
We removed the existing exterior door and discovered it was sitting on a severely rotted 3×6 beam. The damaged beam was fully removed and replaced with a solid cement box foundation to properly support the new door. The exterior door was then installed, trimmed inside and out, locks adjusted for smooth operation, and all finishes completed for a clean, strong, and polished final look.
