The Rotunda is an arts & culture community venue at 4014 Walnut St. in Philly, PA. All are embraced.
Land Acknowledgement: We recognize and acknowledge that The Rotunda and related programs stand on the Indigenous territory known as “Lenapehoking,” the traditional homelands of the Lenape, also called Lenni-Lenape or Delaware Indians. These are the people who, during the 1680s, negotiated with William Penn to facilitate the founding of the colony of Pennsylvania. Their descendants today include the Delaware Tribe and Delaware Nation of Oklahoma; the Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape, Ramapough Lenape, and Powhatan Renape of New Jersey; and the Munsee Delaware of Ontario. These are not only nations of the past, but are indeed living, thriving people today. What is the West Philadelphia Sanctuary? WPS represents a physical space for all people of the West Philadelphia community to gain respite and engage with one another. We aim to reduce stigma and loneliness and create a generative space in which people of all backgrounds can engage with each other.
WPS will be here every Monday this month 7pm-8;30pm!
Next Monday July 27 is an intro to singing workshop with Kate Quinn! Always free, always open to everyone!

United Block Captains Association Hosp. Summer Fun Program Open House! Wednesday June 17th at 6pm.
The United Block Captains Association Hosp. Summer Fun Program is 7 weeks of fun for children 7-14 years old. Going strong since the 1970s, this summer youth program offers a wide variety of activities including swimming, bowling, skating, movies, amusement parks, arts and culture workshops, and more. It runs Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm [some days end later]. The total registration fee is $200 for the whole summer! Come to the open house to hear from Alice Wright aka Miss Alice, and learn all about it!
