After hundreds of you shared the official way to support Nepal through the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund, our message has now been seen over 63,000 times helping connect thousands more people with verified ways to support Nepal's relief efforts. Every share, comment, and conversation has helped more people find trusted ways to support relief efforts.

The Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund helps provide emergency assistance to communities affected by disasters across Nepal, supporting rescue and relief operations, temporary shelter, essential supplies, medical care, and recovery efforts for those impacted.

🇳🇵Our hearts are with our dear friends, partners, and communities across Nepal as they recover from the devastating flash floods.

Sadly, flash floods have become an annual reality in Nepal, but this most recent event is among the most destructive in recent memory. As climate change accelerates, rising temperatures are causing glaciers to melt more rapidly, increasing the risk of glacial lake outburst floods and extreme flooding. Combined with more intense rainfall, these climate-driven impacts are placing lives, homes, and livelihoods at greater risk each year.

The injustice is stark: Nepal contributes less than 0.1% of global greenhouse gas emissions, yet it is among the countries most vulnerable to the impacts of climate change.

Classrooms with a view 🇵🇪⛰️ We're kicking off August welcoming the newest cohort of GREENies to Peru where they'll be exploring water resource management and Indigenous knowledge in the Peruvian Andes!

📸📍12,000 ft in elevation, surveying ancient Incan aquaducts in the Choquepata community. These 15th century engineering marvels continue to provide fresh water to local communities today ✨

Later, we'll convert these measurements using HEC-RAS, the official hydrologic engineering software, to create a 3-D replica model of this engineering wonder!

⏰ The alarm goes off at 4:00 AM.

Long before the buses arrive and the walkways fill with thousands of visitors, our group with Radhika Bhatt is already making our way toward the World Wonder, Machu Picchu, right as the first light begins to reach the Andes.

There's a quiet stillness in the air that reminds us this isn't just a bucket-list destination, but a sacred place.

Together, we pause to thank Pachamama, set our intentions, and learn the incredible story of the Inca people and the resilience woven into every stone.

Visiting Machu Picchu these days takes months of planning, with tickets often selling out well in advance during peak season. But the early wake-up call is always worth it.
