Story of this table sign - I love to iterate it because it is that special

Small pieces of teakwood pared together by hands to form a cool geometric pattern 🫶🏼

Brass number - the brass has dents on it created by hands again. This art originated in coastal Maharashtra 400 years ago. It’s called Mathar Kaam. Those people migrated to Pune and now only a handful families remain who are keeping this art alive.

These table numbers are not just vintage but also have so much emotion in them! 🤎

Taking a moment to celebrate my brush strokes letterpressed for this fun guest experience. I will reveal the card in another post. I wanted this post to just focus on the beautiful calligraphy and letterpress

There are signs that point you somewhere. And then there are signs that stop you completely.
This is the latter.

Our Sandstone Bar Sign was not designed to simply label a space but to make your guests stop, make them look closer, to make them reach out and touch it. This is carved stone art.

This stone piece has embossed letters and textures that are created using tacha technique and chiseling.

We made these dissolving pull-out menus so guests stay curious and surprised as they open each layer. Instead of paper, we used wood — so they can actually feel the warmth and texture in their hands. The details are engraved into the surface, and each menu is made by hand to create the dissolving effect 🤎

Why is this good for your guests -
Handmade, so no two pieces are the same
Rich texture that engages touch, not just sight
Slows the moment, making dining feel intentional
