Think relief means sacrificing client relationships? Think again.
80% of IndeVets doctors work 10+ shifts at the same hospital, building real connections with teams, clients, and patients.
Take it from Dr. Michelle, who always loves seeing Toby at Park Heights Animal Care Center in Florida. 🐾 "He is the sweetest boy and always gives sloppy kisses!"

What changes when your workweek actually works for you?
More energy.
More presence with patients.
More life outside the clinic.

Manis, pedis, and time to unwind 💅
We loved bringing Fairfax-area veterinarians together at Constance Polish Lounge for a relaxing afternoon outside the clinic. Great conversations, a little self-care, and time spent with fellow vets made for the perfect event.
Thanks to everyone who joined us. We can’t wait for the next one.

Not your typical lunch break 🦝💚
While working a shift at Bay Animal Hospital, Associate IndeVet Dr. Gale spent her lunch break volunteering alongside a rehab tech — helping feed six orphaned raccoons (just 6 weeks old!).
Moments like this are a reminder: our doctors care for animals of all kinds, wherever they’re needed.
Ultrasound is one of the most practical tools in general practice, but many veterinarians don’t get the opportunity to learn it in a hands-on setting.
With the right guidance, it becomes far more approachable and far more useful in everyday cases.

We asked our Associate IndeVets one thing they learned at our ultrasound training with .
From identifying heart failure to integrating a new skill into routine appointments, the impact of hands-on learning shows up fast.
When you’re supported, guided, and able to practice — not just observe — skills start to stick.

She went from working 5, 6, sometimes 7 days a week — to a structured 4-day schedule she actually loves. 🐾
Dr. Kristin Serrano made the switch to IndeVets and hasn’t looked back. In this video Q&A, she shares how she built a workweek that works for her life, what surprised her most about the transition, and what she’d say to any vet who’s curious but on the fence.
Spoiler: “It might sound too good to be true — but it actually is true.”

We brought 24 IndeVets veterinarians from across the country to HQ for 3 days of hands-on ultrasound training with FASTVet, one of the most requested trainings from our doctors.
This is what in-person CE looks like for us: collaborative, practical, and focused on building real skills that show up in the exam room when it counts. There’s something about learning together in person, asking questions in real time, and working through it side by side that you just can’t replicate.
And yes... a few very good dogs helped make it happen 🐶
