Thank you to for having me on the Beyond 2026: Maximizing Momentum for Lasting Impact Panel yesterday! This summer is huge for Philly, but it’s vital that we keep in mind how this year’s investment will affect the years to come.
Today’s LGBTQ+ Health Hearing reminded us that if we are truly meant to be a welcoming city for all, that value must be reflected in our policies and our priorities.
Thank you to those who came out to testify, your voice is appreciated in supporting our LGBTQ+ community.🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️

So thankful for the chance to join the Philadelphia Gay News for their 2026 Stonewall Awards Brunch! Pride is all about celebrating the changermakers, trailblazers, and visionaries in the q***r community, and I am so excited to see those reflected at this ceremony. Congrats to the winners!

I stopped by The Attic Youth Center to see their annual Pride Open House! 🏳️🌈This group advocates and supports Philly’s q***r youth to develop into healthy, independent, civic-minded adults within a safe and supportive community. I always love getting the chance to support their work.
I hope everyone has a safe, supportive and celebratory Pride! 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️

It was an honor to welcome Netroots Nation to Philadelphia today.
In a moment when it can be easy to feel overwhelmed by everything happening around us, there was something energizing about being in a room with people who are still doing the work: organizing, advocating, building coalitions, and fighting for their communities.
Progress has never been guaranteed, it takes people willing to show up, speak out, and keep going.
Philadelphia is proud to host that kind of energy this week. Welcome to Philly!

Today was so fun! Spent time this afternoon at another LGBTQ+ Leaders mural Paint Day, this time held at Village of Industry and Art (). I love getting a chance to uplift pride, art, and community in Philly. Thank you for having me!
I wear my pride flag pin everywhere I go, and the response is always the same: I like your pin.
Whether you’re newly out, or the family member of a q***r person, or just a member of the community, our LGBTQ+ has made an impact on so many lives. I’m so proud to be the first openly LGBTQ+ Councilmember, but I will not be the last. Happy Pride! 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
