Got to meet Dr. Anthony Fauci at the Equality Forumās launch of their 2026 LGBT History Month awards this week! I also got to meet Pennsylvaniaās first openly Transgender Mayor, Erica Deuso | Mayor of Downingtown, PA. Always inspiring to shake hands with the folks moving this country towards a more equitable future.

Had a wonderful time at the Philadelphia VIP 45th Anniversary Gala this weekend! Since 1981, this group has been opening doors for hundreds of Philly residents, small businesses, and nonprofits every single year. I was very pleased to present them with a citation honoring their work. Thank you for having me!

Join me, Rep. Brendan Boyle, Mike Driscoll and Rep. Hohenstein for a shredding event tomorrow, Saturday, September 26. If you have any paper documents or electronic devices with sensitive information that you are looking to get rid of, this event will safely dispose of these items.
This weekās Muslim Day in City Hall brought some troubling accounts to light. Students remarked that they donāt always feel safe in their schools based on their background, and having worked with CAIR-Philadelphia and Emgage Action PA in the past, I know these are not new sentiments.
City Hall is the peopleās house, and we will always be there for our students. I was grateful for the chance to address them and learn more about what they need from their government.
