Throughout my constant, embarrassing barrage of awkward networking encounters, I’ve developed a wealth of tips, tools, and practices that once learned, will help anyone beginning to venture out into the professional social scene look like a polished, professional gem. A little about the Author:

Sean W Hand is an experienced professional, spending his entire post-college career with the same employer, KPMG (a Big4 global professional services firm). Sean spent the first 5 years of his career performing intensive financial analyses and the remainder of his career focused on brand and business development. Sean is a tireless advocate for young professional mentorship, with a passion for philanthropy, organizational development, and public speaking. He sits on multiple non-profit and professional organization boards, with many leadership and developmental roles therein. Sean is a mentor for young leaders in Philadelphia and has been blessed to be mentored by many bright, diligent leaders along the way. Sean holds a bachelor’s degree in International Economics from La Salle University and an MBA from Temple University’s Fox School of Business. He was born and raised in Philadelphia, and has spent the better part of his life trying to round the sharp edges of his Philly accent… though he’ll still tell you to go “down the shore” and enjoy some wooder ice. Lastly, Sean’s greatest fortune was marrying his beautiful high school sweetheart and fathering their gorgeous, hilarious, and zany son and daughter.
