With deep, deep sorrow and a heavy heart we announce the passing of our own Dr. Ann Adderley, member of the PMMC Board of Directors which occurred on Wed. Jan. 14, 2026. Dr. Adderley was a staple in the PMMC Music Program as well as a legend in the Philadelphia School System and wearer of many other hats.
Both an educator and administrator, Dr. Adderley genuinely loved the children and was ever-seeking ways to make a difference in their young lives.
A mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she still found time to invest in her community, especially its youth.
So much more can be said about this powerhouse. Homegoing details are in the preliminary stage but suffice to say that PMMC Music Program is stronger and better because of the likes of Dr. Ann Adderley. She will truly and sorely be missed. Claim your reward, Dr. A.
Blessings2u,
"I will love thee, O LORD, my strength". Psalm 18:1

Another Spring Recital - Our students make us so proud from year to year. This is Jordan Morris' last year with us. He plays both piano and acoustic guitar. Proudly, he has been accepted to Kutztown Univ. We send up prayers and accolades for a wonderful learning experience while away. "Get wisdom; get understanding; forget it not". Prov. 4:5
Pianist,Tamir Newsome also earned a Certificate of Completion as he played masterfully. Each student did an amazing job. But it was our littlest ones who warmed hearts. 6 year old, Caleb Smith played the piano and sang "Silent Night. While Alaina Scott, 9 and her sister Alise, 6 played "Yes Jesus Loves Me" on the piano. 12 year old Dior Wimberly rocked the crowd with a funky rendition of Sly & the Family Stone's "Everyday People.
Thanks to Bass Instructor, Steven Davis and former student, Darren Garnett on drums for completing 'The Collective'. This quartet played EWF's "Where Have All The Flowers Gone" as a musical compliment to the video slideshow PMMC Memorial Tribute.
Special thanks to our Celebrity Guest Host, Mr. Jerry Wells who served as our Master of Ceremony.
Hope to see you all next year. Blessings2u.
Photos coming soon.
