Movie Night is a forum for filmmakers and funlovers to share and discuss movies projected on a big screen in a funky place. Q&A after each film. Games and booz.
Hand-built hand painted a movie screen which measures fifty-thousand cubits by thirty-five. Every other weekend we're opening the projector to filmmakers who want to share their short projects (ten minutes or so) with the occasional featured guest showing something longer. What are you all watching tonight?
Ok, if you see this say something! Does anybody want to see Schizopolis on a slightly smaller screen some day soon before Movie Night packs it it? Some scenes from Sweet Movie? Valerie and Her Week of Wonders? Replacement Killers? Videodrome?
Oh so anybody planning on coming to Movie Night tonight should bring along little hand held mirrors or other optical curiosities (lenses, crystals, etc.) as well as any laser pointers you might have laying around. This is gunna be cool.
OK so I hurt my back really bad adjusting the screen so the least you as****es can do is come by with your short films tomorrow night and watch PIG, a movie made by Rozz Williams of Christian Death, on loan from the Gjerdrum Estate.
Thursday night we'll be screening some shorts in honor of Lindsay Kovnat's service to the community as we bid her farewell with a party. Should start around 8. Bring your movies then, or Saturday for regular ol' movie night.
