A horrifying day. Join us in prayer for the children and families of Annunciation Catholic Church & School in Minneapolis, attacked today during an all-school Mass.
Reports say there may be as many as 20 victims.

Lord,
You are “close to the brokenhearted.” Today we grieve for the precious lives lost and the many children, families, and teachers wounded in Minneapolis.
We entrust these little ones to You, Jesus, remembering, “Let the children come to me… for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
Bring comfort, peace, and healing. Surround every parent and child with Your presence. May Your light shine in this deep darkness.
Lord, have mercy.

Our dedicated caseworkers and frontline staff willingly step into hard situations every day. They do it for children and families who need them. Pray the Lord will continue to kindle their passion and energy and protect their spirits from the difficult things they see. Pray our open positions will be filled with the right individuals who have a heart for children and families and are ready to serve. Please pray the Lord will bless all who are acting as his hands and feet, navigating complicated situations, and doing the emotionally challenging work that is shaping and changing lives.

In Haiti, youth ages 17-22 receive emotional, entrepreneurial, and financial skills they need to overcome generational poverty.

Many children around the world have grown up amidst adversity—political instability, major natural disasters, human trafficking, forced displacement, and more. And too many young adults don’t have access to education, training, and employment. Young people are incredibly resilient; they just need a supportive and encouraging community around them!
