🏳️🌈 Singing City is proud to celebrate Pride Month! 🏳️🌈
While our official season has concluded, members of Singing City will join fellow artists from across the region for a powerful and unforgettable performance of Long Live the Queen on Saturday, June 20 at Philadelphia’s Wilma Theater.
Created by composer Andrea Clearfield and drag artist/opera singer Cookie Diorio, Long Live the Queen is a vibrant fusion of cantata, opera, drag, cabaret, and performance art. Featuring LGBTQ+ choruses from across Philadelphia alongside Orchestra 2001, this 90-minute production explores the past, present, and future of the LGBTQ+ experience through music, storytelling, visuals, and spectacular design.
We’re honored that members of Singing City will perform alongside the ANNA Crusis Feminist Choir, Voices of Pride, and the Transcendent Choir of Philadelphia in this joyful celebration of identity, resilience, and community.
