Allow us to introduce Brand Storyteller Sweet Corey-Bey (They/Them/Theirs)

Sweet Corey-Bey joined Musicopia in 2026, leveraging 7 years of experience working in marketing and communications on behalf of mission-driven organizations and platforms.

They support the team in sharing stories that enliven the mission, vision, and values of Musicopia’s work in the past, present, and future.

An orchestra kid all grown up, Sweet maintains their practice as a bassist and bandleader in Philadelphia and beyond.

Allow us to introduce Garret Davis, Program Manager of Musicopia Drumlines and Musicopia String Orchestras (MSO)

Garret is a New Jersey and Philadelphia based percussionist and educator.

Garrett holds a Master of Music in Percussion Performance from Temple University and a Bachelor of Music in Performance from Rowan University. Garrett has appeared in productions nationally, recently working on the national tour of The Music Man.

Garrett has over a decade of experience as a music educator and is passionate about creating engaging musical experiences that inspire confidence, creativity, and a lifelong connection to the arts

Please join us in welcoming Lorenzo Raval as the Musicopia String Orchestras' new Artistic Director & Conductor!
Lorenzo officially stepped into the role on August 1, bringing his experience as a violinist, violist, educator, and musician to the MSO program.
Born and raised in Quezon City, Philippines, Lorenzo holds a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance and a Master of Music in Viola Performance from Temple University’s Boyer College of Music and Dance. He first joined the Musicopia String Orchestras' violin faculty in 2024, and we’re excited to welcome him into his new role!
