Day 5 of The OverFlow reminds us that the next generation does not need to see perfection; they need to see faithfulness. Your life may be preaching louder than you realize. The way you keep showing up, forgiving, serving, and trusting God can become somebody else’s evidence that covenant still matters.

The Founder's Chair with Pastor Williams

There is something sacred about sitting at the feet of someone who has walked with God for decades.

At 86 years old, we count it a tremendous blessing that our founding pastor, Pastor Williams, is still with us—still encouraging, still teaching, and still pointing us to Christ.

As a church, we've been talking a lot about the importance of generations walking together. Scripture reminds us that one generation should declare God's works to the next (Psalm 145:4). One of the greatest ways we can honor those who came before us is to listen to the wisdom they've gained through years of faithful service.

That's the heart behind The Founder's Chair.

Each week, Pastor Williams will answer a question, share a lesson, or tell a story from his lifetime in ministry and the history of New Hope. These aren't just memories—they're reminders of God's faithfulness.

In this first conversation, we asked him:

"What was the biggest challenge in the early years?"

His answer is as relevant today as it was then: Learn to trust God.

We pray these conversations will encourage you, strengthen your faith, and preserve the legacy of a man who has faithfully served God and His people for generations.

Take a seat... and join us in The Founder's Chair.

Marriage was God's idea. Long before relationship experts, podcasts, and social media advice, God established His design for marriage in His Word.

That's why we're excited to launch Marriage From Genesis to Revelation, a Bible study for married couples and those preparing for marriage.

Beginning Wednesday, June 24, 2026, we'll journey through Scripture together to discover God's purpose for marriage, learn practical principles for building stronger relationships, and grow closer to one another and to Him.

Each registered couple will receive weekly Scripture reading plans, reflection questions, discussion prompts, and prayer focuses.

📅 Bible Study Begins: Wednesday, June 24, 2026
🕖 Time: 7:00 PM

⚠️ Register by Wednesday, June 17, 2026, to receive your Scripture Reading Plan before the study begins.

Day 2 of The OverFlow reminds us that covenant is deeper than agreement, attraction, or shared history.

Covenant is strengthened when God is the third person in the relationship, the ministry, the assignment, and the commitment.

Whatever you are building, make sure God is at the center.

Are you making room for God, or just giving Him what’s left?

This week’s Selah Moment reflects on Make Room by Jonathan McReynolds and reminds us that wisdom grows in the space we create for prayer, Scripture, worship, and the voice of the Holy Spirit.

Take a moment. Listen. Reflect.

Day 5 of The OverFlow reminds us that the real challenge is not just entering the next season, but stewarding it well. New doors require new wisdom, new discipline, and a deeper dependence on God.
