Last night we celebrated 5 years since launching our Homeowner Advisory Council (HAC) — and honored our founding members with a well-deserved tribute.
The HAC’s impact is seen and felt across everything we do: from how we work with contractors to how we show up for neighbors and partners across the city. We are so grateful for what we have built together — and excited to see what grows from this foundation. 💚

We are STILL buzzing. 🙌
This past Saturday, hundreds of runners, walkers, and supporters took to Forbidden Drive for the Run to Rebuild — and what a truly beautiful day it was.
Together, we raised $63,000+ for safe, healthy housing for Philadelphians who need it most. Every step. Every dollar. Every single person who showed up — it all matters.
To our sponsors, volunteers, runners, and walkers: thank you. You showed up for your neighbors in the most literal sense, and we are so incredibly grateful. 💚

"Juan Peralta, a father of three and volunteer with the environmental advocacy coalition HERE 4 Climate Justice, testified that it cost him around $3,000 to keep his family warm this winter.
“It feels like the system is failing us,” Peralta said.
The typical low-income household in the Philadelphia metro area spends more of its income on energy bills than the typical household nationally, according to the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy. We love to see this!
Philadelphia launches ‘Alleygators’ program to clean alleys by request The new program will help residents keep their alleys clear with a once-a-year cleaning by request.
Every space holds special meaning for the people who live there. For this homeowner, her front porch and sunroom is where she comes to pray.
She’s been in this home since 1985, and her porch shows it in the best way. Lush, thriving plants fill every corner — some of them she’s tended for over 40 years, rooted in this home just like she is.
Our crew repaired cracked corner bead, peeling drywall tape, and damage around the front door and ceiling following a roof repair — leaving it clean and paint-ready for volunteers to put the finishing touches on during our most recent Block Build.
This is why we do what we do. 🏡✨
Day 2 of an incredible two-day community effort—and what a finish.
Grateful for every set of hands that showed up, every skill shared, and every moment spent pouring into our community.

Day 1 of our West Philly Block Build is in the books — and what a BEAUTIFUL day it was! 🙌✨
From the smallest "wee-builder" to some of our most seasoned skilled leaders, around 150 volunteers showed up and showed OUT, tackling repairs across 12 homes on a block. From hammers swinging to paint rollers flying — the energy was unmatched and the impact was real.
A huge shoutout to our incredible partners who made today possible — including Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Saint-Gobain, Radian, students from Wharton & Weitzman, The Enterprise Center and so many others who rolled up their sleeves right alongside us. This is what community looks like. 💪🏠
