Alternative indie rock. [email protected] & [email protected]

Cultivated in the eternal city of Brotherly Love, TIOGA creates music that sounds like if Jack Antonoff and Brandon Flowers went to a karaoke bar and sang Talking Heads songs until they got kicked out and then mumbled David Bowie songs to themselves on the walk home. The group marries their meaningful lyricism and endearing style of alternative indie with a hearty bass and danceable synth-pop sound. Their homebase now extends beyond the confines of Philadelphia, and as far as the Big Apple.

“Divine No Pain Motel” is out Sept 16th.

You may wonder, “Why the neon? Why the roadside Americana?” If you’ve ever heard us play “Divine No Pain Motel” live, you know it has a little more twang than a typical TIOGA song.

It’s popping open a fresh Miller High Life at a dive bar that feels uncanny but is thousands of miles away from home. It’s that little shopping center off the road in the middle of nowhere that looks the same everywhere you go. It’s that diner with neon 20 years too late. It’s what Tom Petty would write if he were in the forced Utopia of Mercyland.

Follow the link in our bio to pre-save “Divine No Pain Motel,” and while you’re at it, you can also pre-save our new album, Mercyland, which is out Sept. 25th 🎆
